Ms. Rios earned an Associate degree in Liberal Arts from Central Texas College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at Campbell University in two and a half years.
She obtained her Master of Business Administration in Digital Entrepreneurship from Strayer University. She also earned three High Growth Digital Startup Management, Digital Business Operations, and Technology and Product Management certifications. While attending Strayer University, Ms. Rios was accepted into the following for outstanding academics; Alpha Chi National Honor Society, Delta Alpha Pi International Honor Society, Golden Key International Honor Society, and the Society for Collegiate Leadership & Achievement (SCLA).
Ms. Rios is pursuing her Doctorate in Business Administration at Capella University with a specialization in Leadership. Ms. Rios is a Doctoral candidate for 2023.Ms. Rios was also invited to the Capella University Chapter of the SALUTE Veterans National Honor Society due to her outstanding GPA. In addition, Ms. Rios was certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2021.
Ms. Rios served for 13 years in the United States Army, obtaining the Staff Sergeant (Airborne) rank. Ms. Rios supported Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, assisting the Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force in Afghanistan, Iraq, Bahrain, and Kuwait.While serving in the U.S. military, Ms. Rios was the Brigade Ammunition Manager and the Range & Land Noncommissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) for the 95th Civil Affairs (CA) Brigade (BDE) (Airborne), supporting U.S. Army Special Operations Command in managing and distributing ammunition across five battalions. While serving in Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Bahrain, she forecasted, organized, and provided comprehensive logistical support for the Joint Special Operational Command (JSOC) and all U.S. Special Forces (S.F.). Additionally, Ms. Rios provided technical subject matter expertise to five senior-ranking battalion command personnel on all matters concerning ammunition, policies and procedures, and the effects on the battlefield. While serving, she obtained her certifications in HAZMAT, Ammunition Stock Control, Accounting Specialist, Automated Logistical Specialist, Unit Supply Specialist, Special Operations Support Personnel, M270A1/HIMARS Launcher Course, Javelin Gunnery Trainer Course (GTC), Airborne, and Battle Staff Operations.

Ms. Rios sits on the Board of Directors for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Montgomery County, the Board of Directors for the Silver Spring Business Improvement District in Montgomery County, and the Board of Directors for the Marlboro Pointe Homeowner Association in Prince George County, serving as the Vice President. Ms. Rios was recently named to the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council. Ms. Rios will serve on the NSBA’s Economic Development (ED) Committee.Ms. Rios also serves as the Chairman of the Board for the 2022 Juan Vargas Family Reunion.
Ms. Rios serves as a Board Member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Montgomery County (HCCMC).The HCCMC is a Hispanic Business Foundation of Maryland, Inc. This 501c3 charitable organization is the venue for the Chamber to provide ancillary community outreach and support and highlight the economic development participation of the Latino entrepreneur. As a board member, you are also invited to oversee and participate in the strategic direction and planning of the Foundation.
The HCCMC’s mission is to be the gateway to the economic success of the Hispanic-owned small businesses as well as other minority small businesses with similar objectives and to highlight the talent and contributions of Hispanic professionals in the different industries and governance for an improved quality of life and a healthier, safer community.
Ms.Rios serves as the Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Silver Spring Business Improvement District in Montgomery County.The Silver Spring BID is authorized by Montgomery County to operate exclusively to promote the everyday business, community interests, and general welfare of the residents, employers, employees, property owners, commercial tenants, consumers, and the general public within Downtown Silver Spring.
Ms. Rios serves as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Marlboro Pointe Homeowners association. The mission of theMarlboro Pointe Associationis to build a vibrant,premier communitythat promotescommunity esteem,encourages cooperation,promotes harmony,and maintainsan attractive environmentfor our homeowners.

Ms. Rios will serve as a Board Member on the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council’s Economic Development (ED) Committee. The National Small Business Association (NSBA) is focused on providing valuable networking between small-business advocates from across the country while ensuring small businesses a seat at the table as Congress and regulators take up key small-business proposals. Ms. Rios joined the NSBA Leadership Council as part of her efforts to tackle the many critical issues facing small businesses, including tax reform, regulatory restraint, health care costs, and how access to capital will impact small businesses.
Ms. Rios, a recognized leader in the small-business community, joins the NSBA Leadership Council alongside other small-business advocates from across the country as they work to promote the interests of small businesses to policymakers in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Rios serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the 2022 Juan Vargas family reunion. Ms. Rios is a decedent of Juan Vargas, an Aztec Native Indian, defender of Mexico against Spain in 1810, and a defender of the Battle of the Alamo in 1836 in San Antonio, Texas. Ms. Rios, Co-Chairman George Medina,and various committee members have located all his children and their descendantsfor the first time in history. They will be reunited on November 19,2022, in San Antonio, Texas.
